Cultural Achievements

Amidst tough competition and strong opponents, SGGSC 26  participated in 57 events out of a total of 59 events conducted in PU Zonal Youth and Heritage Festival (Zone A), 2018 and acquired positions of prominence.

Drama Club: 'Paigaam'

The Club takes several initiatives to promote cultural activities in the College like organising workshops and performing Nukkad Nataks. The club also encourages the students to participate in cultural activities organised by other Colleges. A brief report of the activities of the club is as follows :

·           First prize in Ad-mad in Parivartan at CGC, Landran

·           Second prize in Skit in TECHRITI at PGGC 46 Chandigarh

·           First prize in Skit in IT FIESTA and third prizes in both Ad-Mad and Skit in the Biz Bash 2019 at GGSCW 26 Chandigarh

·           Second prize in Stand-up Comedy in Rangrezz Fest at Chitkara University, Rajpura

·           First prize in Mono Act in the fest Apratim 2018 at  CCET Chandigarh

·           First prize in Skit, Third prize in Stand-up comedy and  participation in Mime in PEC Fest 2k18 at PEC  Chandigarh

·           First prize in Stand-up Comedy in CGC Tech Fest at  CGC, Jhanjeri

·           First prize in Ad-Mad in CU Media Fest at Chandigarh University, Gharuan

·           Third prize in Ad-Mad in Techzeal at PGGCG 11           Chandigarh

·           Participated in Ad-Mad in Environment Fest at PGGCG 42 Chandigarh

·           First prize in Ad-Mad and Stand-up Comedy in   Panache 2K19 at GGDSD College  Chandigarh

·           First prize in Skit, First prize in Ad-Mad and Third prize in Mimicry in Phoenix 2K19 at GGDSD College Chandigarh
