Till date the strength has been constantly on an increase. The Department saw gradual progression under the able headship of Prof Gurcharan Singh Sakhi, Prof Dharam Singh, Prof Shinderpal Singh, Prof Labh Singh Kheva and the present head, Dr Devinder Singh, respectively, since the establishment of department till date. The current faculty consists of 8 members, namely, Dr Gurmej Singh, Prof Kulbir Singh, Dr Jaswinder Singh, Dr Jaswinder Kaur, Dr Jagdeep Singh, Dr Sarbjeet Kaur, Dr Hanspreet Kaur.
