One-Year Certificate

Certificate Course in Women Studies

A one-year certificate programme focusing on the conceptual foundations of women studies and the national and international initiatives undertaken for the empowerment of women.

Minimum Eligibility for Admission Subject Combination
  • a) +2 examination from Board of School Education, Punjab / Haryana or Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi; or
  • b) Any examination of another University / Board / Body recognised by the Syndicate as equivalent to (a) above.
  • Paper-I: Conceptualizing Women Studies
  • Paper-II: National and International Initiatives for Women
One-Year Certificate

Certificate Course in Solar Energy and System Designing

A one-year certificate programme covering the fundamentals of solar energy and photovoltaic systems, along with the design, installation and practical applications of solar systems.

Minimum Eligibility for Admission Subject Combination
  • a) 10+2 (Science stream) examination from a recognised Board such as Punjab / Haryana / CBSE or equivalent; or
  • b) ITI (Electrician / Wireman or related trades) from a recognised institute; or
  • c) Polytechnic Diploma (Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical or related disciplines); or
  • d) Any other examination recognised as equivalent by the University / Syndicate.
  • Paper-I: Fundamentals of Solar Energy and Photovoltaic Systems
  • Paper-II: Solar System Design, Installation and Applications
Subject to PU Approval — This course is offered subject to approval from Panjab University, Chandigarh.
One-Year Certificate

Certificate Course in Sri Guru Granth Sahib

A one-year certificate programme offering an introduction to Sri Guru Granth Sahib along with the study of its practical aspects.

Minimum Eligibility for Admission Subject Combination
  • a) Minimum 10+2 examination from a recognised Board such as Punjab / Haryana / CBSE or equivalent; or
  • b) Any other examination recognised as equivalent by the University / Syndicate.
  • Paper-I: Introduction to Sri Guru Granth Sahib
  • Paper-II: Practical Aspects of Guru Granth Sahib
Subject to PU Approval — This course is offered subject to approval from Panjab University, Chandigarh.
