Boys' Hostel

Boys' Hostel, Sri Guru Gobind Singh College
On-Campus Residence

A home for outstation students

The College has a well-maintained Boys' Hostel within the campus, providing accommodation for more than 280 students across 73 rooms, with a separate Warden Office, a double-bed dormitory and a Waiting Room — a structured residential environment that lets outstation students settle into college life with ease.

Inside the Hostel

Residential facilities & amenities

Each room is fully furnished and ready-to-occupy — fitted with a chair, study table, bed (bedding to be brought by the student), cupboard and ceiling fan. Beyond the rooms, residents have access to a separate Study Room, Fitness Centre, Indoor Games area and an LCD TV lounge for recreation and informal interaction.

Day-to-day amenities are well looked after: the hostel is equipped with fully automatic washing machines, water coolers and geysers, ensuring comfort across the seasons. Fire extinguishers along with water-pipes are installed at appropriate locations as a safety measure against fire incidents, and CCTV cameras have been placed at specific points to maintain strict vigilance.

The hostel functions under the supervision of the resident Warden, supported by hostel staff who oversee discipline, maintenance and the welfare of students.
